Le Clos de l'Aube Rouge
A leafy refuge at the edge of Montpellier, cradled by the pines and the still of the pool.
A park, a pool, the city fifteen minutes away.
In Castelnau-le-Lez, the pines open onto a sunlit pool, a tennis court and a seasonal table. Tram L2 slips into Place de la Comédie, a few stops from here.

Three moods, for two or for the whole family, each turned toward the quiet of the park.

Forget the product pages. A day here unfolds into many small moments, once your bags are down.
7.30Breakfast under the farmhouse beams, while the garden begins to light.
11.00The pool opens. The cicadas haven't started yet.
16.00A game of tennis in the shade of the pines — or a nap, depending.
19.30A drink on the terrace while the sun slips behind the park.
21.00At table, market cooking and a glass of Pic Saint-Loup — the day lingers.
At the gates of Montpellier, facing the garrigue.
Between Pic Saint-Loup vineyards and soft-sand beaches, the southern Languedoc unfolds right at the edge of the park. The tram — a five-minute walk — drops you at the foot of the cathedral.

What our guests say
“Extremely friendly reception staff — more than friendly. We were stranded one night and couldn't find anywhere else; the young man offered, at no extra cost, to add an extra bed for my 14-year-old daughter. The lady at reception is also very kind. A nice bonus: the outdoor pool.”
“A lovely spot tucked into the trees around it. A successful family reunion with three rooms on the same floor, side by side. We shared a wonderful time together around the pool and over very pleasant breakfasts. Highly recommended — close to the tram so you can reach Montpellier without a car.”
“Le Clos de l'Aube Rouge hosted us (IME Les Muriers) on Tuesday December 16. The atmosphere was exceptional — a delicious meal and impeccable, attentive service for our young residents. We won't hesitate to book again in December 2026 for our Christmas party. Thank you again.”
In April, the blackbirds return above the pines. The pool reopens on the 15th of May.
